Wales v South Africa

Wales are set to take on World Champions South Africa this June, in a showcase match that will celebrate ten seasons of rugby at the Millennium Stadium.

South Africa were Wales opponents back in June 1999 when the stadium first opened and Wales recorded their only ever victory over the Springboks.

Mr Oregan Hoskins (president of the SA Rugby Union) was quoted as saying: "As we opened the stadium ten seasons ago, it was only appropriate that the Springboks should be the nation to mark the anniversary"

Wales will play the Springboks for a second time this year when they meet on 13th November as part of the Autumn International campaign.
